CIAT’s 2011 study into the possible effects of climate change on the production of cocoa – the key raw ingredient in chocolate – seems to pop up everywhere these days.
It got a mention in this piece from last Friday’s LA Times, along with a report from Climate Nexus which suggests the 30% slump in sugarcane production in Indonesia in 2011 was partially linked to climate change.
