The seven billion people quandry

By the end of 2011 the global population is going to reach seven billion – a number so big it would take two hundred years just to count to out loud!

Growth is occurring at a rapid rate – the population has more than doubled in the last 50 years. So what does 7 million people mean for the land we occupy? For the resources we consume? For the future of the human race?
