Two Degrees Up on the Oxfam blog

Our friends at Oxfam International have posted a piece about Two Degrees Up on their From Poverty to Power blog.

NP Ghana 51 copy

The Two Degrees Up series of photofilms, produced by CIAT, was unveiled at the United Nations COP16 climate change conference in Cancun in December, during the launch of the CGIAR’s Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) Research Program. So far they have been watched around the world more than 6,000 times. They show the impact of rising temperatures on agriculture in Colombia, Ghana, and in the latest installment, Kenya.

The Oxfam blog also gives a sneak preview of one of the next stages in the project – taking farmers to visit ‘farms of the future’ – to see what climate change could mean for the crops they currently produce.
