Colombian coffee takes a hit

Coffee farmers in Colombia are counting the cost of several consecutive seasons of unfavourable weather, which has affected crops across the country.

As well as rains falling during flowering causing a drop in coffee yields, the increasing problems of coffee rust and infestations of the coffee pod borer have also ruined crops.
