CIAT’s guinea pig work in Congo gets international coverage

CIAT’s work to improve guinea pig production in war-torn Democratic Republic of Congo has received wide international press coverage today, following yesterday’s announcement on the CIAT blog.

The story has been published in UK national newspaper The Guardian, The New York Times and ABC News, amongst others.

    Congratulations. The ABC link is broken. I found it by searching on "guinea pig" and discovered that it was the same AP wire story that the NYT carried.

    you'll see that the story has been published over 140 times now. These are mostly the result of the Associated Press wire story – including ABC.

    The Guardian actually carried 2 stories on the DRC guinea pigs yesterday – one straight from the AP feed and the other redrafted by their DRC correspondent.
